Footloose review
Posted : 11 years, 9 months ago on 30 June 2012 03:58 (A review of Footloose)Remake of the classic '80s dance movie is faithful to the Kevin Bacon original. The movie's messages are positive -- that teenagers have a voice, that they can make a difference, and that they deserve to be heard.
After Ren McCormack (Kenny Wormald) mother dies of leukemia, he moves from Boston to live with his aunt and uncle in small-town Bomont, Georgia. Ren is shocked to discover that in the aftermath of a tragic accident, Bomont has a strictly enforced town-wide curfew on its teens and has made it illegal for underage adolescents to dance in public. Ren decides to challenge the system to finally allow dancing.
The movie is all about fear, passion and love to dance.

The Expendables review

The Expendables,โ a team of veteran mercenaries who reunite to bring down a drug operation. Movie packed of mayhem is simply ultraviolent, nonstop, and numbing, whereby a team of five people not only take on but hunt down whole army of drug dealer.

The Debt review
Posted : 11 years, 9 months ago on 25 June 2012 04:09 (A review of The Debt)The Debt, secret agent thriller practically sells itself on the cast alone. Helen Mirren, Ciaran Hinds and Tom Wilkinson are middle-aged Mossad agents trying to clean up an old job. Meanwhile, their younger selves are played by Jessica Chastain, Sam Worthington and Marton Csokas.
These agents step off a plane in Israel in 1966 to applause from waiting officials. They didn't succeed to capture Nazi war criminal Doktor Bernhardt and bring him to trial, however they killed him after a mess up and that counts as a win in everyoneโs book.
30 years later while Rachel is at the launch of a book by her daughter detailing their mission, things taken up a ugly turn. The hush up buried in the agents concious about to come out and the whole world gonna turn around. What happen is the end of the movie, one wanna watch.

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island review
Posted : 11 years, 10 months ago on 24 June 2012 02:11 (A review of Journey 2: The Mysterious Island )An insane but spectacular sequel to entertaining hit Journey To The Centre Of The Earth, Journey 2 features the same forgettable teenage hero in Josh Hutcherson.
he Mysterious Island.
Instead of Brendan Fraser tagging along (he's not even mentioned here), the film switches things up, with Sean now accompanied by his stepfather Hank (Dwayne Johnson, who knocks it out of the park).
Along for the ride is a helicopter pilot (Guzman) and his hot love interest daughter (Vanessa Hudgens, who feels completely out of place). Naturally, not unlike the first film, they wind up finding the island only days before it's about to sink into the ocean.
This movie keeps things light and goofy, just like the first film, a watch able stuff.

Coach Carter review
Posted : 11 years, 10 months ago on 20 June 2012 04:56 (A review of Coach Carter)Based on a true-life story of a coach, a sport drama, who tries to make a difference in the lives of his players by teaching them that there's more to life than basketball.
Ken Carter (Samuel L. Jackson) was once a star player on the Richmond High School basketball team in Richmond, CA, and years later returns to the school as the new basketball coach. While Carter wants to make the Richmond cagers into a winning team, he also wants a lot more -- to teach the boys to respect themselves and one another, and that they must excel in the classroom as well as in the gymnasium. Under Carter's guidance, the team not only turns their losing season around, but complete change in their life.

The Trip review
Posted : 11 years, 10 months ago on 19 June 2012 02:01 (A review of The Trip)A nice picturesque comedy tale of a touching road movie starring the actor-comedians Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon. Coogan gets a magazine assignment to review a dozen outrageously pretentious country restaurants in the chilly north of England. For company, he brings along his friend and colleague, Welsh-born impressionist (Brydon). The entire movie consists of these two driving, eating, and talking. A good movie to watch for those who like to travel.

Safe House review
Posted : 11 years, 10 months ago on 9 June 2012 06:19 (A review of Safe House)Safe House is a violent two hour ride, story of agencies dirty operatives and their cover up.
The story follows Matt Weston (Ryan Reynolds), a house-sitter at a CIA safe house in South Africa. He was frustrated that this position has no upward mobility and he'll be in stalemate, missing all the action in the agency work. But, that's about to change thanks to super fugitive Tobin Frost (Denzel Washington).
Frost is a former CIA operative that went rogue and began selling classified information to the highest bidder, marking him as one of the most wanted men in the world and top wanted man on the agencies list. After years of eluding capture, Frost turns himself in and is transported to Weston's safe house. Heavily armed men raid the location and Weston barely escapes with Frost. Matt and Frost go on the lam, trying to stay ahead of their pursuers, while also entering into a deadly cat-and-mouse game of their own. The experienced veteran, plays off of Weston, the vulnerable but determined rookie.
