Nothing But the Truth review

Posted : 9 years ago on 12 November 2015 06:55 (A review of Nothing But the Truth)

Principles and truth can cost one his or her lifetime. Touching story of journalist commitment of not disclosing her source of information, but she had to pay a phenomenal price for that.

Gravity review

Posted : 10 years, 9 months ago on 23 February 2014 04:08 (A review of Gravity)

Gravity, 90 minutes of space thriller that tells the story about the horror of space junk that could cause accident and space debris. A group of astronauts fixing a communication glitch on a space shuttle met an accident caused by space debris caused by some accident. This accident lead to catastrophic devastation set by space debris and with all communication break down. A good movie depicting the loneliness of humans in the vastness and emptiness of space.

However, how the only survivor Dr. Ryan Stone pull out an amazing come back to earth, is bit too much to digest, even than the movie is very captivating as space up there is always been a fascination for human being.

Turbo an animation movie that tells the story of a snail that has a passion of car racing, day dreaming winning these races. An accident favors Turbo that mutated him into a snail that can run at lightening speed leaving a bluish trail behind him and than guess what he got chance to participate into Indianapolis Grand Prix thanks to Tito.

A good movie to watch, kids definitely love it, with a message never to give up on ones dream no matter how difficult it is.

Pacific Rim review

Posted : 11 years, 1 month ago on 20 October 2013 02:39 (A review of Pacific Rim)

A Sci Fi with a unique concept, bit bizarre too, whereby Kaju's a creature similar to dinosaurs era specie, in the form of alien life form attacked earth through a space bridge that too open in a bizarre location, yes not in space, but in between a cleavage between two tectonic plates deep on the pacific. The human race facing annihilation came up with a strategy to pitch giant robots piloted by two humans simultaneously against the Kajus and there only chance is too get away with the space bridge.......

For Greater Glory: The True Story of Cristiada review

Posted : 11 years, 1 month ago on 18 October 2013 04:13 (A review of For Greater Glory: The True Story of Cristiada)

For Greater Glory, true story. In the years 1926 through 1929, Mexico fought a war, Cristero War, over the freedom of Roman Catholics to worship.

As a result of the Mexican Revolution, the constitution of 1917 stripped great power from the church, along with half of its enormous land holdings. But it was not until the regime of President Plutarco Elias Calles, who began to strictly enforce the constitution, that an uprising ensued. An impassioned group of men and women and not to forget even children each make the decision to risk it all for family, faith and the very future of their country. Supporters of the Catholic Church, who called themselves Cristeros, began a campaign against federal troops and had surprising success after they hired Gen. Enrique Gorostieta Velarde to lead their forces. An atheist and a hero of the revolution, Gorostieta signed on for the cash and because he supported the principle of religious freedom. This gorilla like war against the regime ultimately budge the government.....

G.I. Joe: Retaliation review

Posted : 11 years, 1 month ago on 7 October 2013 02:54 (A review of G.I. Joe: Retaliation)

G I Joe retaliation is a story of team of macho men, oops one lady is in there too. I wonder if a country has such powerful strike team of individual than why an army is needed, anyhow they are upto a bigger task and half of their crew members died in action after rescuing the nuclear bomb from the clutches of terrorists, who after killing the resident of the country took control of the nuclear hide out (the army if that country was maybe sleeping). The half of the team got dead because some other have to fill in such as snake eye and storm shadow.

The story and stunt at places are too much, soldier firing inside the well where the remaining three of the members were hiding to save there life, guess what not even one of them got even a single bullet. Later nuclear explosion of some five bombs in mid air with no fall out, however as per my understanding these nuclear bombs are meant to explode in midair not on surface to get maximu devastation. Anyhow if one like action so it is there ......

White House Down review

Posted : 11 years, 1 month ago on 29 September 2013 02:59 (A review of White House Down)

The action packed movie, " White House Down" is about the inside fiasco in the US government and some personnel vendetta that resulted in chaos and attack on the White House in a bid to take US president hostage. Amazingly the only chance to save the White House, president and onset of WWIII is the agent who just been refused to good enough for the job secret agent.
